Guidelines for Authors
Journal of Multidisciplinary Research & Development Studies (JMRDS)
1. Aims and Scope
The Journal of Multidisciplinary Research & Development Studies (JMRDS) publishes original, high-quality research that contributes significantly to knowledge across multiple disciplines. The journal welcomes manuscripts from social sciences, natural sciences, humanities, business, education, health sciences, and related areas. JMRDS encourages studies that are theoretical, empirical, or applied, providing insights that advance scholarship and practice.
2. Originality & Ethics
- Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
- All submissions undergo double-blind peer review to ensure fair and unbiased evaluation.
- Authors must declare any potential conflicts of interest and acknowledge all sources appropriately.
- Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism or unethical practices will be rejected immediately.
3. Submission & Format
- Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format and written in clear, academic English.
- Include the following:
- Title Page: Title, author name(s), affiliation(s), email address, and ORCID iD (if available).
- Abstract & Keywords: Abstract of 150–250 words and 4–6 keywords summarizing key concepts.
- Main Sections: Introduction, Literature Review/Theoretical Framework, Methodology, Results/Findings, Discussion, Conclusion.
- References: Follow a consistent citation style (e.g., APA 7th edition).
- Formatting Guidelines: Times New Roman, 12 pt, double-spaced, 1-inch margins on all sides.
- Length: Typically 3,000–6,000 words including references. Figures, tables, and graphs should be numbered, properly labeled, and placed in the manuscript where they are referenced.
4. Review Process
- All manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent experts in the relevant field.
- The editorial team evaluates manuscripts for originality, quality, and relevance.
- Possible outcomes include acceptance, revision, or rejection. Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts prior to final acceptance.
5. Copyright & Licensing
- Upon acceptance, authors retain copyright of their work.
- Journal of Multidisciplinary Research & Development Studies (JMRDS) publishes articles under an open-access license, allowing wide dissemination while giving proper credit to authors.
6. Author Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy, validity, and integrity of their data and analysis.
- Disclose all potential conflicts of interest.
- Follow ethical standards in research involving humans, animals, or sensitive data.
- Maintain academic honesty and adhere to ethical guidelines throughout the research and publication process.
