Manuscript Preparation

Authors submitting to the Journal of Multidisciplinary Research & Development Studies (JMRDS) should carefully prepare manuscripts according to the following guidelines to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to academic standards:

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and written in clear academic English.
  • Submit in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  • Use Times New Roman, 12 pt font, double spacing, and 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins on all sides.

2. Structure of the Manuscript

A typical manuscript should include:

  • Title Page: Concise title, author names, affiliations, email addresses, and ORCID iD (if available). For peer review, remove identifying information from the main text.
  • Abstract and Keywords: Abstract of 150–250 words summarizing objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Include 4–6 keywords.
  • Main Body Sections:
    • Introduction – Research background, context, and objectives.
    • Literature Review / Theoretical Framework – Summary of relevant studies and conceptual basis.
    • Methodology – Research design, data sources, and analysis methods.
    • Results / Findings – Presentation of data and observations.
    • Discussion – Interpretation, significance, and implications.
    • Conclusion – Summary of findings and recommendations.
  • References: Follow a consistent academic citation style (e.g., APA 7th edition). Include only works cited in the manuscript.

3. Figures, Tables, and Illustrations

  • Number all figures, tables, and illustrations consecutively in the order they appear.
  • Include clear titles and legends. Place them within the manuscript where referenced.

4. Length

  • Manuscripts typically range from 3,000 to 6,000 words, including references.
  • Short communications or brief reports may be shorter, subject to editorial discretion.
